Art days - part two.

After a visit to the market this morning, on the hunt for a new desk, cum dining table, and without much luck, I met R in town, for more gallery going.
Two really good shows. The first was right up my street - Everynight, I go to Sleep at Modern Art. It is a group show with 19 artists. One of whom, Alice Channer is someone who's work I really like.

I did discover the work of Jack Strange. On show were four collages using paper money, which I thought were wonderful. I will definitely be on the look out for his future works.

The next space we visited was Karsten Schubert in Golden Square, to see the new Robert Holyhead show. This is the second solo show of his work I've seen, and it lived up to our expectations. Really beautiful, washy, thoughtful oil paintings. The space is a great too!
